Peter and Midnight Oil made a fortune...his so called needing a public wage is almost hilarious for its lack of any truth. This world would be so much better if we had more leaders like him!

nothing much to report. my favourite songs for today are my 3 favourite madonna songs..."rain" "justify your love" and "ray of light". the lady gaga concert the other night looked like a madonna concert from 20 years ago. she will be better in another 3 years or so when shes got more hits to sing. rgds.

greetings lucille. your band used to be my favourite australian band...but now i cant stand the sound of you.....whenever one of them comes on the radio, i turn the channel straight away. go figure. my guess is that nobody will come up on charges with the shonky "batts in the roof" scheme....because the blame will ultimately come back to you and the kruddster. we'll see. day 2244. 2x2x3x11x17. only figs and urine and water until 7.00pm tonight...nothing else. then salad and ricecrackers etc.

minister for doing nil except drawing a public wage

@lapdogwilly1 Spot on dude, Australia has a mentality in many primary industries that we simply have infinite resources. Using science and being pragmatic is the way, not pandering to the rants of selfish interests and random comments by brains found under the dunny seat on a prawn trawler.

...and to my knowledge the Oils never named an abum "meat is murder'...that was the Smiths...there's nothing wrong with being behind sustainable fishing. The fisherman who are bitching now are the one's who are completely screwing the fisherman of the future. They want to reap now and screw the entire future of the profession.
hahah...Peter gives a crap about his pension??? He made a bunch being a true artisit, so moneywise he'll always be fine. He's one of the few musicians who's actually followed through with his message. Sure, politics is a dirty job in a lot of ways, but he actually had the balls and the motivation to try and change things by becoming a part of it. Much respect..

Well they could hold up international law. They do nothing to monitor what type of whales they are hunting. Its been proven the Japanese have been hunting threaterned and endangered species. Last year after they returned to Japan they then hunted in the nth pacific and even admited they killed 100 threaterned and endangered whales
