Yeah, most definitely. The mine and ghost town are pretty popular. I wish they would restore the mine to the point you could tour the shaft and tunnels, that would be awesome. Then again, that would bring more traffic to the area and the place would be disturbed a lot!

ACK! Sounds like exploring is a bit out of the question for now all right!

tviscante,
Thank you. :) I would loved to have explored this one too, but it's around 1,000 feet deep (if I remember correctly) and the tunnels extend for over 30 miles!
Hopefully, once the weather cools, we'll be making another trip.

Or 'connect' and 'disconnect' sounds.
Very nicely done presentation :) I need to explore a mine shaft myself...

GiacomoC,
Thanks for letting me know more about the clicks. After posting the video and reading your comment, I found some great info about clicks at the AAEVP website. The more accustomed I've gotten to listening for EVP, the more evidence I'm able to find deep inside the audio after a click comes through. It's truly like learning a new language as you listen for the tell-tale signs and subtle nuances of the voices.

LPF767,
Thanks for your feedback. I'm appreciative of the clicks because they let us know when someone is about to potentially speak. Glad you liked this installment. I'm still working hard on the audio for the new video.

Hey John, I was just wondering if it was possible to include in your videos the visual read-out of audacity? Probably involves yet more work but it would be interesting to see the graph displayed of the hertz that is detected with the variety of sounds your picking up. Just a passing thought....nice accent ;-)

Absolutely identical John!!! The exact same click I get constantly in my recordings, identical!!! At times some of the clicks are louder than others, like it's dropping into the recorder. John, this is OUTSTANDING......some of your best recordings yet! "Please give me a sign"...LoL, sounded like it stepped on your recorder, LoL, how's that for a sign. This is an excellent upload babe!
I also have head clicks on my Olympus digital recorder but there not the same as what yours picked-up. i also thought maybe there was a malfunction but after researching an talking to the company i had to determine that maybe what created these clicks were paranormal. My recorder was also stationary during the clickas, an didn't happen all the time.I think its a spirit messing arounf with something..but very good evps/

@aimeerenee2 Thanks for sharing about the clicks you are receiving. There's something very strange about the phenomenon of clicks, yet it's not often discussed. I wish you all the best with your recordings. Please keep in touch.
