  • lol me too,

thank you for telling me that info. =)

But I dont get how pride would if in the category as a sin.

  • I'm with you! Perhaps "unearned pride" would fit better into the sin category.

  • Love the bottle of wine and wine glass on your shelf. That would toss the bible thumbers in "Try Counties" in to a spin.

  • I disagree strongly with your view that we are to only worry about ourselves. We shouldn't be going around on the street attacking people for doing wrong, that would only further them from Christ. But at the same time we are to have an answer for those who ask. Homosexuality is wrong, plain as that, but so is polygamy, pre-martial sexual acts, and a bunch of other actions. We should show first the love of Christ, but we must not ignore God's commands. He says don't do it, it's wrong to do.

  • I have to show the gospel to people who are lost such as I was. Is that what you are getting at? Don't be judging if you just as worse?

  • God does command us to judge. He even tells us how to go about doing it, worrying about yourself is not what the bible teaches. What it does teach is to test and examine yourself to see if you are in the faith.

  • I think you are very right, I don't think that most churches today would even let Jesus in! God doesn't like sin, he hates sin, but according to the bible lying is worthy of death, being gay is not the only sin that the bible speaks of. I have some very sweet friends who are gay and I feel like Jesus loves them just as much as me. He died for all sin and there is no one sin worse than another, maybe blasphamy but I'm not sure of that. Jesus taught us to love one another as we love ourselves.

  • That was interesting. It actually made a great point that I think about quite often. People are so quick to judge others, creating others to be constantly defending their beliefs and creating meaningless arguments. Lets start with OURSELVES..."Do unto others as you would have others do unto you". That begins with a lot of understanding WHO we (ourselves) are and what we expect from others. haha Make sense??
