Here is the first of four segments from a sermon by Calvinistic Baptist Nelson C. Turner titled, "Once For All: The Sacrifice Of Christ."

Turner's preaching emphasizes the 5 Solas of the Protestant Reformation, strong Calvinist soteriology, and the Absolute Predestination and Sovereignty of God in all things.
In this segment, Pastor N.C. Turner explains:
1) How Christ's vicarious sacrifice expiated our sins, propitiated God's wrath, and perfected those who come to Him in faith alone.
2) How the law of God could not make fallen man perfect before or after regeneration: For if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain (Galatians 2:21).
3) And how the justified render obedience unto God out of gratitude for what Christ did for them, not in order to merit salvation, nor to maintain it.
The Bible says,
"A man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified" (Galatians 2:16).
