Bro, don't use Knoppix on Virtual MachineWare, because this 3D effects do not stock. Knoppix is more powerful on boot, than on some virtual programs.

First time using this distro. I'm a windows user I had to get it in order to rescue my files from my unbootable computer. I love it though the little problem with flash did take a lot of time to figure out.

@sneekylinux yes .. KDE 4 will hopefully take a breath as Gnome is being upgraded to 3.0 now and it may take its time becoming featureful and more stable so people will overwhelmingly turn into KDE then .

Since KDE 4.x came with all its bad stuff and KDE distros start to become less popular and less usable because if they use KDE 4.x they are not stable and if they use KDE 3.5 they are outdated !!

@cobrafazea true mate, they stuck between a rock and a hard place, but i have found that kde is slowly getting a lot more stable, and when (hopefully)they implement there new idea,s which are well cool,we should see kde back on track

well.. knoppix was never about being user-friendly, rather about running on all sorts of obscure hardware..

@bamdadkhan is true but in the old days it was just super, and offered you a lot,but now it is a shadow of its old self.
