  • sandy is a hero

  • If your point is that Bill Clinton had the most corrupt administration in history, then that point is screamingly refuted by even recent U.S. history, mikemusmc72. You realize that making such a claim involves examining administrations led by dead presidents.

  • We seem to be at an (expected) impasse. Let's skip the bj and Ken Starr. You win on BOTH points. You can have that. Compared to ALL the other historical "issues" surrounding the Clintons that's not a big deal. I'll also concede the corruption of Nixon (I never denied that). But CHRIST! Nixon's DEAD! Like most Clinton Superfans, if all you have is being pissed at Ken Starr and then Nixon's corruption from the early 1970's I think I've made my point.

  • I have denied your assertion that a blow-job took place in the Oval Office. I have also denied your ridiculous assertion that Sarr deserves no blame for that stupid, multi-million dollar investigation he led. Nixon was FAR, FAR more corrupt than the Clintons could ever HOPE to be.

  • Sure, Nixon was ambitious. However, he abused his power to an alarming degree. Not so the Clintons. You sure are one to lecture me about partisanship, mikeusmc72.

  • You keep saying I'm "ridiculous" but you can't deny all the issues with the Clintons the past 25 years. I said NO ONE can be Pres. w/o some questionable tactics. THAT INCLUDES REPUBLICANS! And why you keep bringing up Nixon from 35 years ago is beyond me. Because Nixon was a corrupt Republican in the early 70's gives a corrupt Democratic in '08 a free pass? Bad logic. As an American I am free to decide whom I do not trust and based on HISTORICAL INCIDENTS, I DO NOT trust the Clinton machine!

  • Oh, I see. The Clintons are simply "ambitious". Nice term. Wasn't Nixon "ambitious" too then? Based on your own argument you should give him a free pass as well. But somehow I doubt that. Nice partisanship.

  • Ridiculous, mikeusmc72. The Clintons could never hold a CANDLE to the ruthlessness of Richard Nixon, a Republican, I might add. Starr DID waste millions of dollars. Who the hell cares whether Clinton had a blow job?? STARR dragged this out. The cheating did NOT take place in the oval office, mikeusmc72. Get your facts straight on this.

  • Ridiculous, mikeusmc72. The Clintons are NO MORE politically ambitious than was Reagan or Bush or ANY Republican. In fact, Richard Nixon, a Republican, showed political ruthlessness like no one else. Make sure your "info" includes that Clinton was EXONERATED by a Republican-controlled Senate.

  • No one can become President without doing some questionable tactics. I simply believe the Clintons (as a long-term political force) have done substantially more questionable/unethical tactics than others. People complain Starr wasted 50+ million on the Monica thing. They blame the prosecutor! It was Clinton that dragged this out, lied, then admitted cheating on the First Lady IN THE OVAL OFFICE. There's a long track record here of bad ethics and bad judgment I just do not want in a President.
