The start of the Everglades in Central Florida is a foreboding place, thick forest in brackish water inhabited by a variety of venomous snakes like the pygmy rattlesnake and cottonmouth along with many amphibians, birds, raccoon's and of course the Florida Alligator.

Some really great footage here and the choice of music is terrific. I used to hunt in swamps like this, well I wasn't a very good hunter but I sure loved the outdoors in S Fl. Footage like this proves that you are an experienced travelor as well as photographer. Most people never see this side of Florida because of the major attractions are their only destination. I hope you got a chance to see some of W Fl as well.

@joesphx19 Thanks so much for your kind words. We loved this area & yes we did see W FL. Drove some of the country roads - got to Crystal River and snorkeled with the manatee, Cedar Key . . . Loved Florida. :)
