@vassilis359995: it would be wiser to use the tap water depending on the amount of TDS or Chlorine present in it & it can be treated using RO system or kinds of water conditioners from the local pet shops. Lakes usually have contaminants which could cause problems when the water remains stagnent for some time.
@vassilis359995: for you tadpoles, you can feed them fish flakes... gold fish flakes are more recommended as they contain more of veg. Ones they turn in to frogs, feed them mainly with some kind of meat, chicken, frozen insects... But during the tadpole stage, fish flakes & tetra bits, sinking pellets etc...
I don't know if you still have the bullfrogs or not. But there is an easy way to feed them, whatever you like. Say chunk of meat... You can run a niddle with a thread (having a not at the end) through the chunk (half an inch or bit more). Swing/drag it in front of it & it will pick it. This way your bullfrog will get max. food in less time.

Dude great advise coz i just orderd a bullfrog tadpole and i was wondering another way of feeding it coz im not chasing worms. Thanks anyway
