Jack Knife Fails

Hmm, this one's interesting to watch in slow mo. I'll have to work out when exactly the second kick comes out, using what kind of momentum.

@timtangYT I could probably jackknife like that, but I like how the hook unfolds and rotates. That's why I slowed it down. Did you see it? I'd rather try to figure out how to develop that particular aesthetic than knife from a straight leg. If I can't figure it out, I'll probably do otherwise, but I will always be slightly disappointed.

@synwolf hmm... feilong knife would be even cooler. but the idea is that you want to lift your leg perpendicular to the ground -- it shouldn't come up to kick level.

trying lifting with your leg straight (left leg). apparently it makes throwing the hook after easier.
