Lakeview High Chapter 48

Hey guys watsup so here's my first ever series featuring the Jonas Brothers it might start off slowly but I promise you it will be great. Alright so Here's Chapter 48 of Lakeview High....

She turned away from him. He'd already said 'Don't Go.' about five times and yet she still didn't seem to change her mind. Everything was already set in place she wasn't going to stay; she was going to leave for Montana. It seemed like everything was crashing down on her, Scar, Abram, Mom.....It was mostly Abram's argument with her that made her realize how stolid she had been. Abram was her brother but now she didn't have him anymore, she turned back to Joe who's face seemed to have gotten closer to hers. She leisurely moved away from him and cleared her throat.
Hayleigh- "I'm still going to Montana. I'm sorry I can't quite agree with you on staying here." He grabbed her hand and his eyes singed her. "Don't do that face with me."
Joe- "Hayleigh, do you remember that day when you met me out there on the field? When we talked you understood me, I know it sounds corny but It's true. I just thought that you know since we've known each other for like, what? A week. I don't want you to leave, I don't want to forget you, I don't want to forget how you changed me. Please don't go." She took her hand away from his.
Hayleigh- "You don't get it do you? I don't want to stay!"
He stood up quickly and held out his arms. "Then why are you here!" She stood up also then inched closer to him.
Hayliegh- "I thought---I thought you could help."
Joe- "Why me? Why not Scar?"
Hayleigh- "Because you haven't done anything wrong to me that's why I came here to talk to you and hope that you would understand me but apparently you don't." She scowled him and began to walk away but he grabbed her arm and turned her around.
Joe- "Look Hayleigh I'm sorry. It's just Prom and Graduation are tomorrow. Just go, enjoy it."
Hayleigh- "Then I can leave?"
Joe- "Yes, then you can leave." A wide grin spread slowly across her face and she punched him playfully on the shoulder.
Hayleigh- "You got a deal."
Joe- "But there's one more thing I need to ask you..."
Hayleigh- "What is it?"
Joe- "Will you go with me to prom?" He asked while fidgeting with his fingers, her mouth agape. Prom? With her? She still wasn't sure about if she was with Scar.
Hayleigh- "I don't have a dress."
Joe- "We can get you one tomorrow." She smirked and hugged him he rested his headon hers. Her face buried in his chest something in the back of her mind was telling her that this was not right, she was still with Scar, right?
Joe- "You know, when you came here I thought you were being chased or something."
Hayleigh- "Well, that's just silly." She said as she released him and smiled at him. He smiled back and ruffled her hair. "Hey."
Joe- "Hey you." He said as he stepped closer to her, she immeadiately knew what he was thinking about and she put her walls up and turned away from him. She didn't know what to think she did like Joe but she also still had feelings for Scar.
Hayleigh- "I don't know-" She was cut off by Joe's lips colliding with hers and for some strange sympathetic reason she kissed back. It didn't really compare to Scar but it was a kiss...His fingers tangled with her hair and he deepened the kiss. Something felt wrong, like a huge lump of guilt was in the pit of her stomach but she ignored it. They separated just inches away from each other breathing heavily.
Hayleigh- "We shouldn't.."
Joe- "I agree.." She pulled him back into a kiss again and she felt free as if nothing could bring her down. The door creeked open and in came Red his eyebrows furrowed.
Red- "What the hell is going on?"
Joe- "Damn it Nick, why don't you knock?" He ignored Joe and looked at Hayleigh.
Red- "What are you doing you're dating Scar, you turn around come here and just start sucking Joe's face off? Get out." His finger pointed to the dark hallway.
Hayleigh- "Red I-"
Red- "Go..now."
Hayleigh- "Red just listen to me! Do you have any idea what Scar did to me before we started dating? He punched, kicked, and actually cut me. Plus he broke my wrist with his bare hands, do you honestly think that I should be loyal to him after all he's done to me! Abram said to me that I was a stranger to him because of me going out with Scar. He told me that I shamed myself and most of all my mother. I can't live with that, not now, not ever! That's why I came here."
