Pituophis is a genus of nonvenomous colubrid snakes commonly referred to as gopher snakes, pine snakes, and bull snakes. Species within the genus are found throughout the United States and Mexico. This critta made a move across a very warm parking lot and was guided back to a field seething with rodents.

  • Very cool! I've always had snakes when I was a kid, Garter, Speckled King and Water Snakes. I still get pissed when I hear people tell me they kill them. I usually ask them why would you make the mice and the rats happy. Other than the Water Moccasin which are territorial, they are non aggressive and want no part of us. Are Copperheads territorial???
