This storm was nothing to write home about but it did have some decent lightning accompanied by gusty winds and a good downpour. We were under a severe thunderstorm warning at the time and the radar looked promising as the storms moved in from eastern Pennsylvania, but the storms didn't pan out like I hoped they would! This line of storms moved east to New York City, thankfully not producing tornadoes like the storms of a week ago.

  • @jljenni Yeah, you guys in PA got whacked. There were two thunderstorm cells embedded in the line that moved through; one that went by just to our north (the one that hit you) and the other that went directly through my area but, as you said, it was weakening. Will probably have to wait until next year for another storm!

  • Dude you guys got the storm when it was ding down but here in Northampton county we got the bulleyes. We had at least 60 or 65mph winds and blinding downpour. We had tree down everywhere. I would say my 19 yrs of living that storm was the worst I every seeing. But there was no hail.
