The guy think's he is so "big" down there, so his girlfriend must have a big "hole". If you are a woman you would get that "super" or "light/mini" is not the size, just the amount of flow you have. So when the guy goes to the cash register he tries to show off asking if their is a larger size, but the woman who is working there knows he is an idiot and knows nothing about it.

Well if a jokes has to be explained.... then you not really meant to get it.
But as he figures he's got the 'biggest manhood' out there, then his girlfriend must need the appropriate largest size of tampon.
It's hard to explain more than that, without getting too graphic or vulgar.
