@yabruf Ok, I was wrong about the meaning of Yahweh Sabaoth, thought that does not change this particular deity's origins as the Hebrew God of War.
The Koran and the Bible both contain the Jewish old testament, the document which first introduces "God". If you were an arabic christian, you would call your god "Allah", for that is the name of "God" in arabic. The only crucial difference between Islam and Christianity is who their Prophet was. Christians and muslims do not pray to the same God. They are polar opposites. Allah is the god of hate and mindless obedience. God of the bible is the God of love, mercy, and grace. Not sure where you get your info from but you are clearly not a scholar of the Koran or the Bible. Oh and to correct you "Yahweh Sabaoth" means The Lord of Hosts. He is Lord of the host of heaven and of the inhabitants of the earth. Try a little research next time, it will help you save face...LOL
