Jerome Corsi is writer who just jumped on the bandwagon, he does not have a career in ENERGY. I recommend listen to all sides, and then watching the market, and asking yourself "What's going"....keep doing that until it all makes sense........."We are at Peak", end of story, simple.

I highly recommend the book Black Gold Stranglehold by Jerome Corsi and Craig Smith. Educate yourself as to the truth about petroleum and reject more of the establishment's nonsense.

Assuming there was one....A Shark Cage would be flimsy fascade...inappropriately built out of paper and cardboard! The "divers" made a strategic error in underestimating the "size of the beast", and its absolute lack of empathy for the human condition (just a pair of black eyes, complete absorption of all light, no reflections, no care, no emotion... purely consumptive).

I wish I was able to put together the professional presentation that would tie the debt-based monetary system to unsustainable social systems. This is one of the very few peak oil videos to bring them together. As long as money is based on debt there will be a NEED for an unsustainable growth economy and a NEED for unsustainable consumption of oil and other natural resources. Good video! Thanks.
Hey,
I've only watched the first 3 minutes of the video, but you nailed it, and you nailed it 5 months ago.
Also,
Bladerunner and The Life Aquatic are two of my favorite movies too.
Good job.

I'm not sure what your point was on spearing the fish. My take is that man is a killer by nature.
A lot of Peak Oil people imagine a "little House on the prairie" scenerio. I think they are being highly optimistic and it will probaly be worse then we can imagine.

hmmm...really not sure either, but I did EAT THAT FISH, and it was delicious and nourishing! But, it took alot of work and risk (put myself out there with the "Big Hunters").

Speaking of manual labor... Today, the populace of western countries is confident that we are a lot smarter than previous civilization because we've achieved a high level of prosperity while banning slavery at the same time. The truth is that slavery never went away. It's just that today, we have mechanical slaves... each and every one of us has a couple hundreds of those. What do you do when you can't afford the oil you need to feed them anymore? To quote Homer Simpson: DOOOH!

OpsCross, EXACTLY! Yes, and we (populace) are a bit "high" on ourselves with regard to technology. I think we (populace) are getting more neurotic than ever, not smarter!
