Mating Season "December" - Featuring DJ AK, Dimitry, DJ Mess Kid + "The Prime.Mates"

The December edition of "Mating Season" continues to build buzz and momentum, as it's December 16th party brought the wildest party animals together.

DJ AK, model/designer Brittan LeFils as well as a dedicated group of promoters helped set the stage for one of the hottest parties in NY, which has found it's home at the Gallery Bar in NYC.

The Gallery Bar is located at 120 Orchard Street in NYC... in the heart of the popular, unpretentious LES nightlife scene.

Mating Season was has featured in Time Out NY, and continues to drive interest from both party animals and mere humans.

Party Animal = Mask + Skin

Mating Season features burlesque and go-go dancers from the tri-state area (both established and aspiring) that wear animal masks, and show a lot of skin. The dancers are all incredibly talented and their performance is a fusion of art and innate animal sex appeal. The dancers are called the Prime.Mates, and each dancer brings their own unique style and flair.

DJ AK is the resident Mating Season DJ and founder, but the show has also welcomed several feature acts and guest DJs.

After speaking with DJ AK about the event he mentioned that the concept is simple, "Believe whatever inadequate ideas you want, but we are animals," said DJ AK, "A fundamental part of an animal's life (apart from gathering food) is mating."

DJ AK is quick to mention that they have had some pretty wild acts (pun intended). The quickly emerging DJ is no stranger to the hot LES party scene, as he is also a resident DJ at The Skinny NY on Friday nights.

Whether you have been to the event, or have seen one of the Mating Season photos or videos ... you may say it reminds you of "Eyes Wide Shut" or a masquerade ball, but it's safe to say that there is no party quite like this NYC event. The vibe is awesome, and offers a safe, friendly and fun night out, while getting exposed to some of the hottest music and performers in NY.

This event is not about status or pretense, but about fun. Dancers and promoters H+L (Heather 'H' Sparx and Libby 'L' Castro) also brought a strong following of "Love Muffins" to this edition of Mating Season.
