A pleasant trip to Derbyshire resulted in the same scoreline as last season, but with a much better performance and a happier outcome. With the reds having nearly all the chances in the match it was no surprise that they opened the scoring, mid-way through the first half. Astley Mulholland, buoyed by his goal mid-week, opened for FC after going around their keeper and cooly slotting home. Within two minutes he doubled his tally with a salmonesque leap from a corner to nod the ball home. A great save by the visitors keeper James Spencer stopped a late rally by The Sports and the red army of more than 500 went home happy.

I live over in Moston, so I could go down to the trials, are they in the pre season?

@MANCHESTERUNI7ED They have been previously. Usually before normal pre-season games, so maybe June. Keep an eye on the official site around then and see if they do another trial.
