Throw anything you can ...but don't be dangerous to others and to yourself ! A right combination of different implements weights and sizes will certainly help to develop your throwing power but you have to take care that by the process your technique is not going to deteriorate . Therefore use the following rule of thumb " don't throw heavier than double of your competition implement weight and lighter than half of it " . And also remember that the heavier the implement , the slower the movement . We look for POWER as an OPTIMAL COMBINATION of SPEED and STRENGTH not for "endurance throwing". Combination of heavy and light will prevent to be blocked by the "Speed barrier" which is affecting many throwers.
