@akwatik92 and SEAT! But I hear that VW is returning at least however, rallying today is not as good as back then. Hyundai is doing rallycross with the Veloster, but it's not world class, top level racing. They quit WRC to focus on quality and turning their image around. The rest have pledged the same.

Why would anyone want to race a WRC car against a production model?

Maybe against some touring car spec skyline might be mildly interesting, but this is just pointless.

@goldeye355 That's for Hyundai, but Mitsubishi and Skoda were in the same situation with the budget. But today, they are still racing. I find I bit strange that hyundai hasn't been able to do the same...

@akwatik92 The team was really low budget. They had high expectations but were unrealistic in terms of budget. Labor union strikes and embezzlement by the CEO led the executives decided to pull the plug in order to invest in quality.
