Don't take blood money in the first place! But it's easier to try to ask forgiveness when your caught than to ask permission 1st. She never would have returned the money if she wasn't exposed. Anyone who performs for 3rd world dictators should have some modicum of awareness that the money was tainted. She's in denial. I am glad there are artists like India Arie, Jill Scott and Erykah Badu that are successful because of their substance and humanity and not their bounce

@BeulahLips what have you done for society? why are we so quick to criticize but we don't do what we criticize them for. You don't have to be rich to do things for society, when your a big star evrybody wants some of your time and its known that she is a workaholic she sometimes don't even sleep. ppl need to look in the mirror first and their lives. Judge yourself and not others, because none of us are saints.
