1996 Stephanie Stieglar John Zimmerman - US Nationals

Dynamic skating just coarses through the blood of the Stieglar family, and here we see a first glimpse of some exciting, flamboyant pair skaters. Artistry is just laying all over the ice. John would eventually follow the mold of American pairs skating and switch to yet a third partner, Kyoko Ina, and achieve great success. Stephanie would retire, leaving the ice to her gifted younger brother and sister, Tiffany and Johnny.

Interestingly, watching this video, I can just FEEL that 4th minute exhaustion that envelopes everyone's free skating performances. Here John stumbles a bit, but finds his way to the end of the program. Most people simply don't realize how challenging this competitive skating can be.
