Pat Neve was one of the greatest bodybuilders of his time and yet so very underrated. He set about 6 records in the bench press, ending with a world record 468.5# bench press back in 1973 or so as only a 181#er. He had razor sharp cuts and from all accounts was a truly good guy. He now owns a car dealership and has done very well for himself. More importantly, he seems to be a true family guy having been married to the same woman for over 40 years with a really nice family! That speaks volumes!

Captain America Forever! On the cover of Muscle Training llustrated number 55, July 1976, Pat Neve is definetely Captain America. Forever. A masterpiece. The most beautiful bodybuilding magazine cover was produced 35 years ago.

He is the very Classic bodybuilder.
One of the best among the greatest.

Bodybuilders of this era looked good, unlike the mega-steroid zombie freaks of today who have no symmetry. Their bellies are distended and they look swollen and disproportional. Yuck!
