By Sura 9:29 in islam, you have three choices if you are one of the "People of the Book" - 1) Convert to islam; 2) Agree to pay extortion money and live in humiliation; or 3) Die.
If you aren't one of the People of the Book, your choices are merely "Convert or Die"
Some muslims will try to tell you that this is not the case, and cite S2:256 "Let there be no compulsion in religion" as "proof"
In this vid, an muslim imam explains why S2:256 DOES NOT APPLY, and yes, you do have to convert, die, or be a dhimmi, because the "Verse of the Sword" (S9:5) abrogates "no compulsion".

yeah, well, considering a LOT of people cite "No compulsion", and are clearly wrong, they must not know about naskh (the assumption I've generously made). Otherwise, yes, they are obviously in denial or just being deceitful.
