I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five?

There is such thing as a double-action Peacemaker, right? The only ones I've seen were all Singles.

@electrichand1234 This is an old .44-40 Winchester. But I've only shot what they call 'cowboy action' loads through it. Not as much kick as a full .44-40. From what historical data I can find the original .44-40 loads that were shot through it were even more powerful than the rounds they make now. And I wouldn't even attempt the light loads except that it's in such perfect mechanical condition. It was manufactured in 1904.

Why were you shooting with 1 hand?

@9SidedOctagon There are numerous stances a person can use when shooting a pistol. This is called a Bulls eye stance or point stance, one of several that used to be taught by military instructors. for more info do a search for pistol shooting stances.

why didn't you shoot the last one?

It's an old gun and doesn't have a transfer bar safety. So you keep one cylinder unloaded for safety. (The firing pin is directly on the hammer and if there is one in the chamber under it, a hard blow to the hammer will set it off)
