Is that a chevy s10 you are using? I want to lubricate my chassis for my 2000 chevy s10 2WD but I am having a hard time finding the right lubricant. Does it have to be specific just as the owner's manual say? What if auto parts only have multi-purpose? What can be a recommended alternate? Thank you.

hey eric my dodge ram front lower ball joints are not servicable ones, but could i use same technic to fill the chasis grease up in rubber housing by porking a small hole?

@mrblockboii They actually make an attachment for grease guns that have a needle that you can do that very thing with. It's kind of a 2 edged sword however because once you poke the hole other junk can get in as well and the boot may start to rip where you put the grease in.

Cool post, thanks for the info, I've got a '64 Corvair Convertible that now needs new ball joints because they were never serviced.
