wait for it, wait for it!! ;)

"Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed"
(1 Corinthians 15:4955)

I originally became interested in the concept of the rapture after watching a doco called 'the doomsday code' which I am posting a link to:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6439295521791525424&hl=en

Narrated by the wonderful Tony Robinson (aka baldrick from blackadder, who I met once, if you have ever seen that great tv show!!) thanks for watching!!

The Rapture

I saw a preacher on TV
He said all of the trumpets will sound
A voice ringing out from the heavens
The faithful shall rise from the ground
He claims to have parted the water
He says we'll inherit the earth
He claims to have witnessed a miracle
A star shining over his birth

Resurrect me

But we once danced for the harvest
We once worshipped the moon
The sun in the sky was our saviour
A magic that we lost too soon
The forests they echoed with wisdom
And we learned the secrets they told
The water ran free from the mountain
A music of silver and gold

I dreamed the fear in me last night
All of the stars had gone out
The crops in the field were burning
This void deep inside filled with doubt
Thunder and lightning broke o'er me
The rivers did boil in their beds
Please take me with you believer
Dont leave me here with the dead

  • Terrible!! I'll stick to Bubblegum music!!

  • Wow man God gave you the gift of song brother, no doubt about that.

  • Earth might be fair, and all men glad and wise,

    Age after age their tragic empires rise;

Built while they dream, and in that dreaming weep,

Would man but wake from out his haunted sleep,

Earth might be fair, and all men glad and wise.
