Ashlyn's POV

I woke up the next morning and rolled over to look at my clock. It was 10:30. I groaned and 'dived' back into the 'abyss' of my covers. Suddenly my pocket started to vibrate and I realized I was still in my clothes from yesterday, and my phone was still in my pocket. I relunticuly pulled out my phone and read the text from Nick. It said he was coming over and he's letting himself in. I reluctantly got out and changed into jeans and a long sleeved shirt. I pulled on my wonderful warm UGGs and waked down stairs. Nick was sitting at the island in the kitchen. "Hi." I said. "Hey." He replied standing up and smiling. "Watcha up to?" I asked. "Bored to death." Nick replied. "You could have called me earlier." I said sitting next to him. "Well I was going to but you were sleeping..and after about two hours I decided I had to wake you up." He replied smiling and turning toward me. Now let me tell you how this is. We're sitting at the island in the kitchen and My legs are between his legs, we're both sitting on bar stools. Better? OK! Anyway I smiled and tucked a stray hair behind my ear. "Sorry." I said. "Oh I don't mind, because you're really pretty when you sleep. I laughed. "Thanks." I said. "And I bet you haven't even looked outside have you?" He asked. "No, why?" I asked. I looked at the calender. It was November 26, day before Thanksgiving. "Come on." He said. We walked up the stairs and into the attic which had been turned into a media room, same as Nick's house. But in my house there was an easy was to get on the roof. We stepped out of a window onto the roof and climbed up further. "AHH!!! It is SO cold.." I said as we stepped out of the window. White snowflakes were falling and landing and sticking. It was a smooth, pretty snow. The sky was a nice shade of gray and everything looked so magical. "Here." Nick said coming back out of the window. He was holding one of my coats. (see polyvore) and his jacket. I smiled and gratefully took the warm fabric. I slipped it on over my shirt and rocked back and forth on the roof. It was flat for the most part so I wouldn't fall but Nick didn't like it when I walked along the edge. I laughed and lost my balence, pushing Nick down and landing on top of him. We were both laughing and it wasn't for a few minutes until it got awkward. I liked it though. "Wanna go to the park?" I asked. "Yea! Let's go." Nick said. We crawled back through the window and down stairs. When we got outside we ran to the park and started running to Oakridge park. We laughed and we through snow balls at each other. I laughed and fell to the ground. Nick helped me up and when I stood up, my eyes met his dark brown ones. I noticed not for the first time our they seemed to sparkle and shine. I was about to say something when his lips came to mine and he started to kiss me. I was got off guard but I kissed him back and it lasted longer than necessary, being interrupted only by.....HER.
