If you associate yourself with those who would define you solely as "pretty" or "ugly" than you are damning yourself to a world where that is the only concern. Ever. There will always be someone better looking and worse looking, simply because of the (percieved) majority's standards (ie tan, skinny, nice hair, made-up, expensive clothes.) My advice? occupy your mind with greater challenges, so that you forget about society's weighty opinions concerning appearance. Find a passion, not a standard.
