The Marine Color Guard's horses lose control during the National Anthem at the 2009 Equine Affair event. They were fine for awhile, but then they just started losing it. Watch at the end when the one horse rears up.

  • -He did NOT tell the horse to rear up. They were NOT supposed to come out of a solid formation. That was REALLY bad, but the marines kept themselves collected, and did their best to work with the horses, although neither were properly trained. It makes me angry to see the people talking during the National Anthem, that's extreamly disrespectful!

  • I don't know why the idiots didn't just turn off the music to let them regroup! Geez, it was so loud, any horse would spook at that.

  • Aww. Looks like they needed a good exit strategy! The audience just made it worse... -_-

  • taht horse was freaking

    out!

  • lippizaners?

  • i think it was because the music was too loud and spooking them but idk

  • Ha ha! Well animals are animals and they can be unpredictable.

  • I think he told the horse to rear up.

  • My horse used to back up on me like that. Oh well. Semper fi!!!

  • guess the marines need to take more riding lessons...Just Kidding!! lol
