Australian Rainbow Tropical Fish

Some of you may know that one of my main hobbies is keeping tropical fish and in particular some of the many species of Australian rainbows. They must be one of the most underated fish in the hobby. They may often appear dull and colourless in shops but as they mature and get adjusted to their new home they display the most beautiful colours. They are very hardy, peaceful and just stunning fish. In this video you can see some of my Australian rainbows in my aquarium.

What size tank do you have here? How many rainbow fish would you recommend for a 46 gallon bowfront? I was thinking of getting 3 for my community tank.

I have australian rainbows.They were freshwater fish .First, there were two. Days later, a australian rainbow died. Now there are one australian rainbow. Written on July 9th 2011
