The Don James show was great. Remember how he would preach that the defense shouldn't "lose containment." He would put the fastest, most talented guys on defense. Sometimes they were too fast and aggressive and would overpursue. But the Don James' defenses were awesome - they'd just overpower the opposition. Don James.. come out over retirement! You're younger than Paterno and he's still coaching.

Yeah, that was great. I LOVED watching those teams from, as you put it, warmer climates come to Husky Stadium in the latter parts of the season and look like they were freezing their tails off. That was back when the Dawgs had a team to be feared. No amount of cold weather has been helping the Dawgs win games lately, unfortunately.

I remember one of the Trojan players after that game was quoted as saying something like: "Nobody drives 98 yards on us. NOBODY" Guess he was wrong, eh? {heh heh heh}
