  • I love how you seemingly take disorganization and make it come together in lovely colors and a tight landscape. What is the paint you are using? What is the medium mix?

  • @mrsclause0000

Thank You... I'm a bit late in replying this one must have slipped under the redar...

    For these mainly acrylic...

  • Lovely piece Suncage. I really like the paintings and the way you have displayed them in the video is really helpful.

I have painted quite a few plein air paintings but have not carried out a series. That is my new years resolution now for 2008.

  • Thank you Geof. It means a lot to me to know that it is of use. If you are intending to design a contract with yourself to paint from life on a regular basis you might like to read some of 'The Limner's Contract' on my homepage.

    Good luck with your resolution.....

  • Very nice work. I'll have to try out some of those techniques. Thanks for posting these videos. I am trying to become a plein air painter, and I am struggling with it, so it helps to watch good painters such as yourself.

  • You're welcome, please don't struggle with it... all you have to do is sketch on site, the rest is subjective. Just enjoy what you do and trust your eyes...Have fun..
