6:20 PPI (Ricky Craven) had all their crew members wearing helmets before that bad accident in homestead. If only all the other teams took note.

i was at the other side of the track btw, but if you haven't been to dover you can see most of the track, gotta remember i was only 14 back then, some nice guy near me let me borrow his binocolulors to see him get out when he saw how shaken up i was

scary, i was there and Jeremy is my driver, not as bad as what i saw on tv when he was pulled out unconcious at practice in 2000 at indy

wow that looked like a bad wreck...from the angle at 5:00 you can tell he pounded it at a bad angle

There's no replay of this crash? I could have sworn I remembered there being a replay of Mayfield's crash when I saw it live back then...

Denny Hamlin's crash at the fall Talladega race this year reminded me of this crash.

Mayfield did suffer some injuries, but I can't recall exactly what they were.
