A young suburban couple dutifully enslaved to debt. The assembly line worker punished by others' lust for cheap commodities. An exploration of the inherent and displaced violence of our domestic lives.
Shot almost entirely on an old Canon 350d DSLR, the music video is a stop-motion animation that took over a year to complete and was comprised from some 10,100 images.
Directed by Richard Eames
Released 5th March 2010
Winner "Most Popular Music Video" WAMI Awards 2010

@TangkapAccent Theres a line of third-worldist marxist thought that suggests that the western working class is basically so brought off by consumerism, that only revolution in the third would is capable of saving the whole planet (including the first world labor aristocracy) from capitalist destruction. I don't personally subscribe to the theory, but its not neccesarily one to dismiss out of hand

Hey cool, instead of actual activism you spent over a year achieving literally nothing.

none of us are naive enough to think a music video will change anything or anyone, but futility can be found in every action depending on how cynical you are. good luck with your 'real' activism though.
