Rastafarianism isn't a religion that gets criticized in music the way Christianity does. By going after a more 'fringe' religion Propagandhi re-enforces their stance that they're opposed to ALL religion, even the ones that are considered "cool".

Haillie Sellasse (Haile Selassie I a.k.a Ras Tafari) was an Ethiopian emperor who was considered to be god incarnate. In Jamaica during the 1930s a new religion emerged (boo-urns) based on this "saviour" who was to lead the Ethiopian people to the promised land (Zion/Israel). Haile Selassie never did, and is now dead (July 23, 1892 - August 27, 1975), yet the religion lives on.

Rastafarians have made Haile Selassie (who was Christian) their god, even though he had no role in organizing or promoting the Rastafari movement. For many Rastas that is seen as proof of his divinity, in that he was no false prophet claiming to be god in order to enjoy the benefits of being a cult leader. Of course, this represents the stupidity of religion and the song uses Rastafarianism to showcase the pointlessness of religion in general.
