@solyentbrak1 yah, the reason they had the clips from the other two films is to make sure we know this is a Batman trailer, and to let us know, "hey, this is a sequel to these first two awesome films, so keep watching." It's like they were afraid we wouldn't know what we were watching, or that the film needed a little push by showing the other clips. It's wayyyy better without the other footage.

Pretty useless edit, the official editor included scenes from previous films because its to do with telling the story, they didnt add them in just for the sake of it

honestly, that would have been way better... they should have made the gordon part a little longer though if they did it like this... like for example, start out with a blurry figure in a hospital bed with perhaps some sort of EKG blip...build up the suspense so people are like "hmmm what's this" and then it starts coming into focus and he starts talking...but there wouldn't be music until it gets toward the end... i think they really messed it up bringing in all that old footage
