@angrypunkbronxkid I think if it shot up with too many dupe views from similar IP addresses, it takes longer for the "real" count (i.e. view per unique IP address) to catch up with it.
At any rate, I've simply stopped caring. As long as the people who are supposed to see it, see it, than all is right n the world.

I'd just like to correct you in saying that we weren't lipsyncing- we actually recorded the song and hopefully added our voices to the mix! It turned out great y'all. sweet rockin...
