i play for my school XV and this season a scrum collapsed on me( I am (was)) a hooker. i fractured my cervical spine(c4/c5 if you're interested) and tore a few ligaments and muscles. It will probably take over a year before i can go anywhere near a contact sport again, and i have had several months of seeing physiotherapists and specialits. I dont blame the game, i think that injuries/accidents just happen, and by playing the game you are accepting the risk of being injured. no way am i quitting
its a paper poppy flower. we wear it for rememberance day and the week leading up to it in respect of those who died in the first world war, and every soldier who has died in conflict since then fighting for one of the commonwealth countries. stores and public places stock up on them leading up to the day. we also have a minute silence on the day where everybody stops what they are doing, Schools, hospitals, airports, everything shuts down for a minute on the 11 of November.

Guys lay off the comments on America. I'm American and play rugby. Hell yeah it's tougher than american football, but before you call us pussies for liking it, don't forget about how big soccer/football is in europe.
