The "Public Option", is the track to complete government take over of health Ins., how can any company compete with the gov., which is not required to profit, and can operate at a deficit, as most gov. run systems. They can lower prices until all private health ins. co.'s are no longer in business, then dictate who, when, at what cost , what will be covered, and forced enrollment. The gov. runs the banks, fannie and freddie, G.M. and Chrysler, next the utilities, and redistribtion of wealth.

Well, the crooks are at it again! The corruption of the process was in full display as Reid brokered a deal in public to send 300 billion dollars of your tax money to Louisiana in exchange for the vote of Senator Mary Landrieu. Even the Washington Post was ashamed of the open corruption.

I'm actually a former Repub ONLY voter who converted to Independent. I think ppl get too caught up in Left vs Right, Blue vs Red, etc.

They end up not even listening to each others views bcuz its a game to them.

And also, while it's nice to see that you are not bothering to buy health insurance, let me remind you that its ppl like you who the rest of us end up paying for when you get in an accident and have a 6 figure health care bill and you file bankruptcy bcuz you cant afford it.

Then the rest of us have to pay for it. Bankruptcies are one of the leading reasons for the cost of health care.

The trick for teh Repubs is to make it so bad that if it passes, they can say later, "See, we told you so."
