@SouthernCross33 yes! deception works, and is also used in war always, today's warfare is not about being invisible, is about confusing the enemy by faking 10 more identical traces on his radar screen, fake targets are used by submarines, ships, planes etc, you can fool any kind of detection technology

@VERGIS92 Yeah no doubt but it is still a good idea and don't forget these guys can afford to lose a couple when they have so many more successful operations. I wouldn't be surprised if they even set up decoy boats/subs to get busted, while they get the main stash through. These coke cartels are big organizations, well cashed up and have all the corrupt cops in their pockets. They'd be making billions from the drug trade and that makes them a serious organization, even if it is illegal
