State of Shock has been together sinc... State of Shock has been together since 1999 and have been rockin' ever since. With Jesse Wainwright (Guitar), Johnny Philippon (Drums), Cam Melnyk (Vocals) and the woman of all their dreams, Alison Toews (Bass), their world of rock has never been the same. Taking their smooth, sultry rock sound to the airwaves, State Of Shock was nominated as Favourite Rock Group at the Canadian Music Awards in 2005. For the remainder of that year, the band toured Canada relentlessly. In early 2006 State Of Shock were busy recording and mixing their sophomore CD at Hiposonic studios, formerly known as Mushroom and The Warehouse. Produced by Jeff Dawson (Daniel Powter, Holly McNarland, John Wozniak) with mixing by Mike Frazer (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, Hinder), the new album will be released in late spring of 2007. Kadooh, the newest guitar playing addition to the band, contributes yet another element to the songwriting and backing vocals of State of Shock's newest album. Fast forward to 2007 with the band signing a record deal with Cordova Bay Records. "State Of Shock is the real deal," says Alfie Williams, Cordova Bay Records General Manager. "We will be targeting mainstream rock and Hot AC with State of Shock's infectious tunes with the help of Frontside Entertainment and Fontana North/Universal." Their new single Money Honey dropped to radio nation-wide and video production is in the works with Blink Pictures, one of the hottest, high-end boutique commercial production companies in Toronto. State of Shock is proving to be a hot item in the music scene with their contagious sound and high energetic shows. Stay tuned...

@duckfan814 if you think SOS music has a bunch of sad songs, listen to the extreme behavoir album by hinder...thts realy depressing, and maybe he j going thru hard times, most the music i write is along the lines of songs like SOS's hearts that bleed and simple plan's welcome to my life, i can easily relate to cameron (SOS lead singer) maybe u shuld try to relate to him, not tryinf to strt anythin here tho
