The film is extremely "stylish" in so many ways, although Bergman would have hated that word. There are so many shots that if you stopped the frame, the shot would look perfectly up to date in any fashion magazine of today, so wonderfully artistic are the scenes, the clothes, the look of the women (very natural look without make up, just playing on the lines of those wonderful faces. It is an extremely artistic bit of work...
