  • Is there a stop on the conveyor for the large log or do you just do it by eye. that's about the only thing on the system that's puzzling me. thanks

  • do it by eye.

i put a paint mark on the table at the length i want. real world is when u get near the end of the log you can cheat one way or the other so you don't have stupid short log at the end.

  • there is a quick release on the hinge system for the saw. it is a hitch pin, about 3 seconds to put it on or off.

then set the saw on the ground and fuel it like normal.

I've had a lot of private messages asking for the saw hinge system, so i'm selling those if you pm me.

  • What happens if you get your glove stuck between the push plate and the log? Can you get to the return control without chopping your hand off? ?

  • yes, you can easily reach the control valve while it is running

this splitter has a 30 inch stroke, so the control valve is a way back so it doesnt interfere.

The next one I build will be a 20 inch stroke, so the valve will be 10 inches closer.

  • wow that is a slick setup you have there. hats off to your creativeness. The only thing that seemed to be missing was the fridge full of ice cold smooth ones after your done.

  • how much would you charge for the plans and specs on your outfit
