@JimmyPage97 I'm NOT denying that the show was from 9/24/94 I said that the PICTURE was from September or October 1980...
-
@mythtree I figured as much. thanks
-
@gtz1975 If ou read the top it says it was in september of '94. I suppose the last year of Jerry's life
-
@JimmyPage97 Of course it's Bobby, & Jerry & Phil, with Vince on keyboards. It was a great acoustic Dead billed as Phil & Friends.
-
The last song we saw the boys together at Berkley; it was an amazing acoustic set. The warmth, the harmonies, some firsts for me & familiars touching me.
Thank you so much for having this here so I can hear it again, so many years later.

This show is famous among tapers. Its usually listed as Phil and Friends. Anyway its a nice reminder of my college years. Its the first Phil and Friends and yes it was in Jerrys lifetime. Basically it was a benefit that Phil was going to play at and he pulled some strings and got some of th boys to join him.

@seanwesternma I figured people would be more inclined to listen if it said the Dead rather than Phil and Friends.
