a video my son made about my lung transplant surgery. I have pulmonary fibrosis secondary to lupus and I have been battling this since 2000. I was hospitalized for the last 6 months awaiting my transplant. A miracle donor now gave me a chance to live.....

  • Thanks for this great video. I hope my oncle will pass through this hard time too. he is waiting for the same operation. By the way how can people aroung the patient be so close to her without bearing mask?!! Maybe someone answer me!

    God bless you all.

  • @trkhena Please email me at mauxmorales@yahoo.com I would be more then happy to answer any questions you have.

  • @trkhena Well, it is not UCSF hospital policy for visitors to wear a mask while visiting the patients, but the patients do have to wear a mask while walking in the hall ways. You can ALWAYS be as safe as you would like and wear masks all the time if you would like. I hope this answered your question and if you have any more please feel free to ask. I will pray for your uncle and don't loose faith, it will come.

  • Absolutely Beautiful. Living proof of a miracle. :) I know what your family went through as MY mother too had Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and received a bilateral Lung transplant. Every year on the day of her surgery, she now celebrates her new life. God bless you both.
