영화 "흑인 오르페(Black Orpheus, 1959)"의 삽입곡 입니다.
경쾌한 브라질리안(Brazilian) 리듬과 이국적 선율이 인상적인 곡입니다.

Percussion은 '양방언 밴드'의 세션으로 잘 알려진 "장재효"씨가 연주해주고 계십니다.
국악인 중 유일무이하게 재즈나 퓨전계열의 연주 세션을 할 능력을 갖추신 훌륭한 만능 뮤지션입니다.

퍼커션과 드럼이 솔로를 작은 소절로 나누어 연주하는 장면이 나옵니다.
한 테마의 단위 안에서 2인 이상이 솔로를 나누어 하는 연주기법을 재즈에서 "Trade" 라고 부르는데, 감상해 보시죠.

중간에 퍼커션 솔로부분에 장재효씨가 연주하는 작은 악기는 "다르부카(Darbukka)"라는 아라비아 지방의 타악기이며,드럼을 치는 서덕원씨가 쥔 채는 일반적으로 드럼을 연주하는 나무 스틱이 아닌 "브러쉬(Brush)"라고 부릅니다.

"Gentle Rain" is the Korean jazz trio with the aim of producing warm melody, sophisticated harmony, and friendly interplay, appealing to the emotions
of the audience while maintaining the tradition of the modern jazz.

Formed in 2004 by Dukwon Seo, the drummer, the band released their first album titled "Into The Gentle Rain" in December 2005.
After the popular project album titled "Cinema In Jazz by Sonagi Project" in 2007.

Trio "Gentle Rain" recently released "Second Rain", the second album in their history in May 2008.
