Thing I find weird is, this generation is like the 2nd generation of dance music / electronic music. In 10 years time, in like 2020, people will be dead who made the original dance music, and there will be "old" electronic music. That shit is just crazy. Electronic music was all "new" at one point; it's only been around truly since the 80s. One day we'll look back on this computer technology like we do on soul; or classical music. I find that hard to get my small brain around.

I really think I had the best Andy C era when he was at his PEAK and hungry and on top of his game. When he made Titan, Ram Raiders, etc. And he had tracks to play like Cybotron LP, Planet Dust (Fresh was coming through), Spaced Invaders, Casino Royale, the big 5 Metalheadz tunes (up all night, jungle jungle), Bodyrock (hey why you hatin'!?), etc. etc. His mixes were always on point. I can't understand why the scene went the way of Clipz and Clownstep. Even men of steel rust. Respect, though.

@2pinklips Me too, remember seeing Andy C upstairs in the Sanctuary, Milton Keynes before he was well know. He used to play 2 hrs of rolling dub plates, most of which you'd never heard before. Not into his current sound, all gone a bit too noisy

Sometimes you just forget how sharp these tunes used to be, nowadays its not a patch, so grateful I had the pleasure to get to many a Andy C set along with the other legends.
