Datum: as the flex space is a datum for all the appendages that are
machine spaces which are in components that are pushing out off of
the main space. Because they are push outs, main central living area
feels open and unrestricted and it can be changed and manipulated
rather than being fixed to serve the family and their activities better.
And increases the possibilities depending on the need of the occupant.

- Flexibility for changing or shifting emphasis of use.
- Variety for pleasure and amusement.
