"Money in politics has created institutional corruption. Both parties are guilty of taking the big check and are bought by Wall Street. My campaign is the only one that speaks out against this and I look forward to the day lobbyists are not allowed to donate to campaigns. Wall Street grew to be a source of capital for growing companies. It has become something else: A facilitator for greed and for the selling of American jobs. Enough already!" -Governor Buddy Roemer

  • This is a great ad. However, my advice to Governor Roemer is this; you and Gary Johnson should withdraw from the race and endorse Ron Paul. We need to be united in this election, for too much is at stake. Roemer even stated to Wikinews that Ron Paul was his favorite GOP candidate.

  • @skier137 I've been thinking the same. I absolutely love Buddy's passion for fiscal responsibility. However, Ron Paul + Buddy Roemer 2012 would be REAL HOPE + CHANGE that we all voted for in 2008 but never received.

Yes, I'm a 'labeled democrat, voting GOP for Paul/Roemer in 2012.' big deal, priorities first.

Fiscal & Social responsibility not only needs to be fixed... it needs to begin!

  • Ron Paul thinks regulating money in politics is an infringement of liberty. Paulbots go away, the world is more complex than a set of clear choices which "honor the constitution." Libertarianism is easy when there are no conflicting interests.

  • @skier137 Roemer has stated over and over again, he doesn't agree with Ron Paul on many things. I personally would only vote republican if Buddy Roemer was the candidate. I would rather have Obama over Paul as president.

  • @T662W379C I wouldn't say ONLY, Ron Paul!!! I do really like this guy, finally getting around to exhausting what media I can find on him.

  • @states37

Becuse those guys have billions to spend on their campaigns, they take money from corporations and pacs and they are corrupt. Buddy Roemer is the only honest candidate there is.

  • @davidmrosenberg the antisemitism in the movement is so ridiculously small. Many of the occupy protestors have condemned that language. it is not really a factor, the far right just wishes it was

  • @SchleckBros No but Paul also says the Voting Rights Act of 1964 was unconstitutional. There are some very good things Paul says, but also things that are downright crazy

  • Jon Huntsman 2012!

  • Ron Paul takes special interest money! Could not vote for him!

  • Buddy Roemer, Gary Johnson, Ron Paul. The Oligarchy

  • @skier137 ron paul is an idiot and a 1%. He is a horrible choice. Wake up!

  • Simply put. Roemer is fighting for the people. Let's elect this guy.

  • @rockylee3281 Paul is not bought by Wall Street. He is supported by we the people. He isn't bought by the special interests or the corporations. RON PAUL 2012

  • Governor Roemer is the ONLY candidate that is making sense right now, and America should listen to him!

We need to create JOBS not outsource America's future!

  • @rilogenes Write him in please, you will still be able to do that and make a difference.

  • @sys49512 You are incorrect, Money is the root of the problem, and Roemer takes no PAC money and no donation over $100. Corruption is the root and Ron Paul as much as I like him, by taking PAC money falls in with the rest. (Real) doctors work on broken bones, Roemer is the only candidate that has a degree in economics and finance. He made a billion dollar bank and didn't foreclose on a single homeowner or business, while not taking bailout money.

  • I love Ron Paul, but the liberal answer to fixing unfair trade is that the markets will work themselves out, as stated by Gov. Gary Johnson when he debated Buddy a week or two ago. Buddy is on a mission to end unfair trade in order to get our jobs back from China. GE wrote a tax code that allows corporations to write off the price of building and sending jobs overseas on our US taxes and paid no taxes. Several others are now doing the same. This isn't going to fix itself, I'm with Roemer!

  • @skier137 - Problem with Paul is he has taken the big Wall Street Checks and won't be free to lead!!!

  • Buddy and Ron Paul are diametrically opposite on globalization, but that's another debate. If anybody has an hour to spare, Buddy makes his position clear on c-spanvideo

  • See, I like this guy. Why isn't this guy getting any real exposure from the media and not dummies like Cain and Perry?

  • Go Buddy! And get Ron Paul as your running mate! And if Paul gets in there, you've got to be his!

  • I am not in the job market , if I had a student loan however, and could not pay it back on account of the lack of jobs and political leadership in DC . I most likely be one of them.I am for free markets and capitalism not self interest and greed by some , that have stop the american dream.
