I did not like this one bit. Steve and Stan were both class acts from everything I have ever heard. Other guys got to leave the territory with dignity and come back, they should have been afforded the same (especially since they would actually be back a short time later more over than before.) I like Jerry Jarrett, he's a class guy himself, but this was something they really shouldn't have booked. When he did this stuff it was often because he felt hurt by a wrestler leaving though.

The chemestry wasnt there for Eddie and Tommy not even close Stan and Steve complimented each others ablilities that few can tag teams can compare to. That drunk ass Jackie Fargo trying to understand please he was never at ring side

This show must have been from a week or two before I began following wrestling. Tommy Rich & Eddie Gilbert were already the Fabs on the first episode I can remember watching. Whenever they brought back Stan & Steve, I was like "who are these guys?"

Man, that was a bitter shoot. BTW, Jackie, about the new Fabs....(J/K. It did give us one of the greatest angles in Memphis history.)
Steve is now the guy running FCW for Vince, while Lawler has to take orders from Vince in an earpiece all night. And no one really cares about Dundee's career since his strip club closed down. Funny how things work out.
(But I like bill. Nice guy.)

Well....Steve's wife was in labor, fixing to have a child, and he asked Lawler if he could have the fabs match moved up so he could catch a flight and be there for the birth...Lawler wanting to get out of Lousiville early so he could go home, said "no" to steve and that is what started it all....Sad because they were the best tag team to come through...Still Miss them..
